Jem's first attempt at blogging. Mark your calendar!

Duncan is making fun of me b/c this is the first time I've ever tried to use/ post on a blog. He thinks he's so smart and that it's self explanatory; well, he is, but it's really not! So here goes: I haven't been outside the US in 20 years (Canada doesn't count, right?), so I am really excited and nervous and manic and not ready. But it's all good, too, right? PS: What does one wear for a ten hour lay over in Paris??

  1. Clothes in Paris? How about a beret? Oh, and maybe some pants and a blouse. I've never been to Paris, but you'll look good no matter what you wear:O) Be comfy for the plane.

  2. Ok Jem, I am now officially a follower. Can't wait to get the updates on what fun you are having. ENJOY! 10 hours doesn't sound like you can get far from the airport. Not sure how early you have to check back in for international flights, but I imagine the airport alone could have some interesting things. I have been to many that have nice museums or exhibits that would give you wonderful feel for the city. Of course, not the same as being IN the city - just go for it!
    love ya! martha

  3. Oh, shucks! I was going to say a beret but Debra beat me to it! But that's really so much stereotyping - I bet hardly anybody in Paris REALLY wears a beret! You'll have to let us know.
