entrance to Dahliat Carmiel-Druze Village -near Haifa

We spent a few hours shopping in this Druze village & then ate a lamb/rice extravaganza where the Arabic/Druze woman is seen making their bread.

  1. The 2 last pictures are in Haifa. The statue is of the prophet Isaiah and is in front of the Carmelite Monastery. The site was sacred for Christian Monks- was destroyed multiple times by Moslems & rebuilt again & again. Isaiah was central Hebrew Prophet who continually beseeched his people to keep their covenant with God.

  2. The garden pic is of the Bahai Gardens in Haifa- from the bottom looking up as they ascend the mountainside of The Carmel Mnts.
